  • 1.  Question about the startRecording command

    Posted Thu January 29, 2026 06:23 PM

Hello everyone, I would like to know if recording using the "start Recording" command has any file size or recording time limits.

    Thanks

    I don't think so...

The video will be recorded while the script is running and the "stopRecording" command has not been executed.

    Hi Tarcio,

The robot's execution time is approximately 2 hours, but the start Recording command only records a few minutes.

    Thanks.

We would need to analyze it.

Are there any errors in the Studio/AgentHost log?
It may be that the VM enters idle mode and the video turns off.
Does this happen with all VMs?

Yes, this happens on all VMs. I didn't find any problems in the logs; even while running, can a VM enter idle mode?

The VM may go into idle mode, depending on what is being done.

If there is nothing in the logs, there may be something in the Windows Event Viewer.

Otherwise, you would have to open a case so we can analyze it in more detail.
