Hi everyone,

What are your usual step by step when doing an environment reboot? Mine was to end replication and dmshutdown all instances but it gave an error later saying that IBM InfoSphere Data Replication cannot start because the metadata has been overwritten by another instance of IBM InfoSphere Data Replication. I've tried updating the instance ID from the TS_AUTH table but doesn't fix the issue unless I recreate it which then breaks all of the subscriptions.

If you have a backup of the metadata database done with dmbackupmd, then I think you will have to recreate the instance and the subscription. Possibly somebody has restored the database and thus overwritten the metadata.
