Query about previously gained Community Points

    Anybody who knows about the community points?

    Does anybody know what happened to the previously gained community points (I think I already have 1,450 pts)?  Because of this, I wasn't able to get a copy of my certificate when I took the exam last 2018.  Would you know if I can still get my certificate or it already expired and I need to take a new exam to be tagged as TBM certified again?  Need your comment or assistance, please.

    If I haven't messed up the copy & paste, it should be this one.
    There's not much more though, just @Lauren Pagan showing what to do, but it's more about the certification than the points.​
    The points mystery is pretty much impenetrable. I got the hang of it in jiveon, but here, who knows? Yes, I'm climbing the ranks, but...

    @Guillermo Cuadrado thank you!  There wasn't a 1:1 match for points from the old platform to this one which is why the points might not exactly match what you had.  Here is a blog that Rhonda posted which gives a bit more information on Community recognition and points.

    What additional info would help to demystify points? I remember on Jive we had a list of how you earn points, maybe that's all we need here? Let me know your thoughts.                 ​​

    Thanks for your input, @Lauren Pagan and @Rhonda Keller. I'm not worried about the points system. I trust that the algorithms will do their job.

    As usual, @Jenny Franklin is light years ahead of everyone πŸ±β€πŸš€πŸ˜œ, but she works super-hard to contribute all over the place.

    I don't want to change my behavior to scratch some more points. I'm fine as far as someone finds useful anything I contribute.​​​

    I get that the points are different now - I suppose I am just a bit gutted that I lost all the ones on the old community and have to start again πŸ™ˆ

    Hi @Clare Smit that makes perfect sense. If it helps, you didn't really lose your community points, there were just converted to this new "points economy" where everyone's #s are much lower than on Jive (where points for long time members were into 6 figures.) @Lauren Pagan and I talked about the need for more transparency in the point assignments. We're meeting on Monday to document all the different tasks for which the new platform is assigning points and she'll post that sometime next week.
