In my old life as a communications professional for IBM Research, I spent a lot of time with researchers in the very early days of IBM's Quantum Computing venture. It was fascinating and, quite truly, a LOT of fun. 

We've noticed that the topic of Quantum Computing comes up often at our events and across the community in different places. We are in the exploratory phase of designing a Quantum Computing community here on IBM's platform. In the meantime, we'd love to hear people's thoughts on Quantum Computing -  share your questions, thoughts, expertise, and ideas here and let's see where the conversation goes!

Cordial greetings, certainly this is a field of study which is showing signs of huge transformation in the way we can achieve problems that could be solved under certain circumstances through quantum computing, in my opinion, good thinking is to find possible quantum applications in real life to understand more what can be done. I had the opportunity to be a student in Qubit x Qubit 2020-2021 introduction Quantum Computing sponsored by IBM, a yearlong course where we try to know the questions of what, what for, and how quantum computers work, using the programming language qiskit, we observe that it is possible to make circuits, be processed in an IBM Q computer generating fascinating results, and like this give us the possibility to understand the behavior towards the method of algorithms to code and use real qubits.

About my experience by learning these new topics have lead on me to make teams around the world, sharing, exploring, and giving me the opportunity even to write a chapter with new friends about the quantum use cases that is in the final review stage.

My first motivation was thanks to reading the textbook on qiskit.org, be attentive in the qiskit community and then I have been able to participate in the IBM quantum challenges, obtaining a pleasant feeling of exponential growth for this field.
That's why I would like to share and be active within this community making posts exploring that curiosity and desire to learn.

Very appreciate the nice words esteemed @Christina Howell, it's great share and keep learning discovering these new transformations, I participate in the IBM Q course together 4,000+ persons around the world, where we have an opportunity to be taught by experts of the field and socialize making teams with new friends also interested in the advantages that are possible with quantum computing in many study areas.

It's great to know about the article related Data Science, due I have the initiative to register at events that take my attention, I am participating in IBM student advocate by IBM Latin America, which is aimed to keep increasing the awareness of learning about technology, there are many students from different countries, I'm from Colombia, in this event we learn to use IBM cloud services for AI and also the possibility to take courses inside IBM cognitive class and IBM skillbuilds. Therefore i would be pleased to participate in the interview.
