IBM QRadar

Hi,

we have a customer that try to converte Qradar VM.
So customer installed Event Collector in a vmware infrastructure and try to convert VM i in Google Cloud Program.
When try to convert he receive error because Google Cloud Program ask to install a package with name google-compute-engine.noarch 1:20220211.00-g1.el7.
The package it seeam not be available.
It possibile/supported to convert VM from vmware to GCP (Google Cloud Progam)? It yes what is the correct procedure/checklist?
Cans support help me?

Why not use this method using the GCP marketplace image method as described here: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/qsip/7.5?topic=platform-configuring-qradar-managed-host-google-cloud and select Event Collector as appliance type.

There also manuals how to configure a console or apphost on GCP.

Hi all,

support IBM replied me.

You would install the MH (Managed Hosts) you want to migrate to ( Google images are restricted to 1.2TB)

Then follow the migration guide

No other methods are supported
