    Hello. Can any recommend any formal QRadar On Cloud training, ideally that provides some certification? I found the on-prem training but it seems to deal a decent amount with installation, which wouldn't apply to QRoC. Then again, I was told that 99% of it WOULD apply to QRoC, but I'm skeptical. 

    if anyone can recommend certified QRoC training, or has experience with the on-prem training and can confirm that most of it does apply to QRoC, that would be very helpful.

    Hi Eric,

    you are correct ... almost all of the QRadar SIEM on-prem education we have on the Security Learning Academy is applicable to QRoC. I would recommend you start by examining the QRoC specific learning category. 

    This category contains courses intended for someone who works with QRadar on Cloud. These courses describe the fundamental differences in the deployment architecture between QRadar on Premise and QRadar on Cloud, and they explain how to set up QRoC specific components or activities.
    Make sure you also investigate all the other QRadar learning assets included in the QRadar SIEM category roadmaps. These will make up the majority of learning activities.

    In regards to certification, you're also correct; we do not have any QRoC specific Professional Certification available right now.

    If you are looking to get certified as a QRadar Analyst, however, you can look at the IBM Certified Analyst - Security QRadar SIEM V7.4.3. We have recently updated this certification, and it is fully applicable to Analysts who work in QRoC.

    At this moment, we are also updating the IBM Certified Administrator for QRadar SIEM credential, and we are contemplating creating a parallel credential for QRoC, which would leave out on-prem-only tasks and add those that are QRoC specific.
