    python3-3.6.6-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm and python-2.7.15-1.aix6.1.ppc.rpm are now available on AIX toolbox.

     

    These version of python have fixes for following security vulnerabilities.

    CVE-2018-1061
    CVE-2018-1060

     

    You can also use YUM to update to these versions of python from AIX toolbox repository
