  • 1.  PySMB, and PySMTP installers

    Good day, experts.

    May I please request for your kind help to ask for repositories where I can manually download and install pysmb and pysmtp?
    I'm planning to install one in an AIX box, with Python 2.7 installed (it has no connection to the internet, hence the manual download and install).

    Looking forward to any response.

    I'm looking at pypi for installers. Although the ones I found are no architecture. Will try to install this, and see.

    Installing pysmb is easier. It is in python only so and no dependencies.
    You can download the source from https://files.pythonhosted.org/packages/37/cd/ba9af4b8a8f964195fd9aeb2a5f2565227ebbd07cf38b467ba5fb85512d2/pysmb-1.2.7.zip
    After that you can install it using pip.
    $ pip install pysmb-1.2.7.zip

    The other one pysmtp has dependencies on other modules and also has c/c++ code. So for that you will have to have gcc compiler installed on system and also need to install first dependent modules.
