pub.publish set local to true, then doc won't publish to broker?

  • 1.  pub.publish set local to true, then doc won't publish to broker?

    Hi,

    I just refereed service development guide and but it has information which I have not convinced. If we set as true in ‘local’ for pub.publish service then document will not be published to broker?

    Hi Surya,

    Yes, it will publish to the local IS, and not go to the broker instead. By the way the documentation is the ultimate guide and went through a lot of iteration of enhancement from legacy version to even the latest one.

    You can rely on the information inside.

    Hi Surya,

    As Mike mentioned, it will be published to local IS and not to broker.
    W.r.t documentation, you can refer to pub-sub development guide as this information is related to messaging, it will not be present in service development guide.
