We have published a edi doc to broker with the help of service pub.publish:publish and we want to know can we track that doc on broker
and if yes then how we’ll see that doc with the help of broker admin .

To be able to see your document in Monitor (or MWS for 6.5) you have to :

• Enable Document Type Logging at broker level (e.g broker #1). This is done through WmBrokerAdmin.

• Then for a specific client group (e.g IntegrationServer) you’ll have to configure the document to be log " Log publish types". Choose your edi doc type.

• WmLogUtil package must have installed in your IntegrationServer and logging must be activated through http://host:port/WmLogUtil

You can use document tracker also to view and track documents published to broker

I have another problem.I am trying to connect my oracle 10 g to the IS using adapter connections but while filling the required firlds i am not sure what is the DSN NAME for oracle 10 g.

Could just brief me the process of connecting the databse to IS.

   However, i think that WmLogUtil package is not installed in my IS.
   Kindly let me know from where i can install it.
   i.e. In case WmLogUtil isn’t installed, what are the sources available for the same?

2. In case i use Document Tracker for viewing published documents, what configuration/settings must be done in it?

WmLogUtil package is Logging Utility feature of webMethods Integration Platform.

You can download from Advantage webSite (if u have privilege) or ask you webMethdos provider to give the appropriate image file.

You can also pick up WmLogUtil package from another IntegrationServer where it has been installed (package archival).

For Document Tracker, be informed that this tool has not been released for wm 6.x environment. It may be supported however some problems could occurs when configuring, just try .

The tool is infact compatible with Broker 6.x versions. Follow the instructions given for the install and configuration in advantage. Its pretty simple to use it. But the point is you have to configure it as a client of type “destroy after disconnect” otherwise it will subscribe to all the document types even though you stop using ot and eat up broker space
