    Hi,

I have a huge amount of missing data points. Now I want to analyze whether the missing data affects observed data. To do so, I need to use the propensity score feature. I watched a few videos (well, there are not many of them) on Youtube; they were either not clear or used a feature that my SPSS doesn't have that advanced feature. I would appreciate it if you could share practical videos on running this analysis in SPSS 2021, version 28.0.0.0. (190).

I have 1 continues, 4 ordinal, 4 demosgrahic categorical variables. I have a huge missing data (%55) in 4 ordinal variables. I want to run a regression analysis, but before that, I want to ensure the missing values are not significantly affecting my dependent variable, the final course grade.

    Thanks,

    Elnara

I'm not sure why you want to use propensity scores to investigate this, but if you do, I suggest first going to Extensions > Extension Hub and installing FUZZY and STATS PSM.  These replace older versions and have some improvements.  On the Extension Hub display, be sure to check the "Installed" and :"Update Available" boxes so that these will appear when you search.

Then using PSM just means going to Data > Propensity Score Matching.  The dialog help should tell you all you need to know, but feel free to post specific questions here.  If what you want to use for matching is missing or not missing, you can use the MISSING function available in the Transform > Compute dialog box to compute an indicator variable for this.
