    hello, updating today my proFTPD package with yum, version install now is 1.3.6.
    Works but send a lot of messages :

    auth|security:err|error Message forwarded from aix700: proftpd: PAM: syslog: fopen on /dev/null failed, errno 2

    What I found on github :

    is not generated by ProFTPD. Instead, it looks to be being logged by one of the PAM modules involved in the configuration.

    Searching on Google shows similar messages being logged for pure-ftpd, and stunnel, which helps further suggest that this issue is not specific to ProFTPD.

    It appeared after update of ProFTPD from 1.2.8 to 1.3.6,
    as far as I know, syslog and PAM (from AIX?) wasn't changed.

    I haven't install ldap connection yet, so I wonder where I can search to fix it.
