    I am interested in learning the best practice of using processing rules versus trading partner agreements. We are considering just using trading partner agreements. How do others use one or the other?

    Both purpose is different and they are independent to each other.Processing rules are mandatory(must) in TN development while TPA setup is not required but it helps in various ways like to define partner specific TPA’s (especially EDI,XML based integrations etc…)this feature was enabled in TN from IS/TN6.x onwards.
