We have a 'little' problem with memory.

In management console you can see how much memory is in use (Memory Usage). Now it is growing always when some map is running but when map is performed it dont release any memory. Example memory usage is 100000 and when map is performed, memory usage is 130000. Only way to release some memory is restart 'event server' service. It can't really work like that?

Another problem is when there is about 3500 maps performed, event server stop. It just stop, dont know why. we cant find any logical reason for that.

    Our platform is Windows 2000.

and what adapters are you using...

hmm.. havent seen that 3500 should be a reason.. many complex maps or ?

And yes, there is complex maps in our solution. Its not exact 3500 maps when event server stops, something over 3000.

Here is some event server log:

I found that the event server stopped after a number of GPFs. They were caused by setting tracing in the mercator.ini file. If I removed the tracing the GPFs stopped and the event server didn't crash - not very useful when you are trying to trace problems with the event server.
