Problems with ApacheModuleIno.so

    I installed Tamino 3113 on Suse Linux 7.2 (Kernel2.4.10-4GB). I’m using the Suse Apache Server 1.3.20.

    After Tamino Installation Apache didn’t start anymore. The following message appears.

    [Tue Feb 19 11:31:12 2002] [warn] Loaded DSO /usr/lib/apache/ApacheModuleIno.so
    uses plain Apache 1.3 API, this module might crash under EAPI! (please recompile
    it with -DEAPI)
    SAG Support adviced me, to einstall Suse Apache and use the Apache delivered on the Tamino CD.

    Did someone have the same problem, and maybe has a newer ApacheModuleIno.so than me?

    I’m not very happy to deinstall and install Apache again, because I’m very short on time.

    The ApacheModuleIno.so has not be compiled with EAPI and therefore the message holds true in that it might crash.

    The only course of action I am afraid is to follow the advice given: use the Apache that is provided on the kit. Tamino 3113 is the latest version.
