    Im using IBM AIX 4.2 with Veritas Netbackup3.2GA. I got stupid problem with tape drive.

    For example :

    In netbackup I have one Class Name ( fullbackup ) with volume pool ( contanis 10 tapes with Barcode D0041, D0042 .... D0049 ). When netbackup is starting at specified time it is selecting D0046, if it is selecting the D0046, then tape drive is becoming "Down", instead of "Up".

    If i do "robtest" from command line, I got following error message.
    m d1 s6
    Initiating MOVE_MEDIUM from address 116 to 5
    move_medium failed, CHECK CONDITION
    sense key = 0x5, asc = 0x3b, ascq = 0x83, DRIVE INDICATES HANDLE IS NOT READY TO OPERATE

    Please guide how to rectify it.
