Problem with approving a provisioning template in z/OSMF

    You can specify template approver groups in Cloud Provisioning and Management's Domain definition. When you identify template approver group in domain, any template defined in the domain will require that the template is approved by a member of the group before template can be published.

    In above example, all the templates defined in the domain must be approved by any user connected to "CLDTEST1" Group.

    You may experience following error when user id that is member of approval group tries to approve the template.

    Above error will happen when group does not have OMVS segment associated with the group or the GID assigned to the group is not unique. If you encounter above error work with security administrator to define OMVS segment for the group name being used in the domain definition. Security administrator needs to make sure that the GID assigned to the group is unique.

    Once the OMVS segment is created for the group with unique GID, you won't see above error and any valid user connected to the approval group will be able to approve the template.
