Problem to configure SAP Adapter and inbound mapping

  • 1.  Problem to configure SAP Adapter and inbound mapping

    Posted Wed November 16, 2005 06:38 AM

    Hi All,
I am in the process to configure SAP adapter on wM6.1 and upgrade related integrations from wM4.6 to wM6.1. But I am facing some problem to do so. I have followed below steps:

    1. I have configured SAP server.
    2. I have configured listener.
    3. I configured inbound mapping.
    4. I have also moved one wM 4.6 to wM 6.1.

And from this service I have to call inbound map (step3). But how do we call inbound map from wM integration

I didn’t get much help from wM forum and PDF files which we have. Would appreciate you looking into this for me.

    Thanks & Regards
    Sachin

I assume when you say “wM 4.6” and “wM 6.1” that you really mean Integration Server (IS) 4.6 and 6.1. webMethods is not a product.

You don’t call the inbound map. It calls you. If all is configured correctly (and there are a number of things that have to be exactly right on the SAP side of things) SAP will will send the RFC to the IS which will invoke the service configured in your inbound map. The term “map” in this case is used to describe the mapping of an RFC name to a IS flow service.

    HTH.
