    Hi there…
    When the Oracle database is taken offline, webMethods IS grinds to a halt when DB service is invoked in IS.
    IS then refuses to respond or accept connections. Anyone has encountered this problem? How do you solve this?

    Is it a database connection to a backed system, i.e. for order processing? What version of webMethods are you on?
    Are you using the Integration Server’s JDBC adapter?
