Hi,

i have a problem to connect Oracle 10g database , after configuration jdbc adapter fields getting an error

Error encountered
[ART.118.5042] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to enable connection resource DBtoEDI.AdapterConnection:JDBC_connection.[ART.118.5036] Adapter Runtime (Connection): Unable to configure connection manager.[ADA.1.204] Cannot connect to the database with DataSource class “oracle.jdbc.pool.OracleDataSource”.ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progresswhere as database runing fine and we able to quary from the oracle client,please give the solution regardsAlam

U r going good… but U just miss some steps…

1. check u put the oracle jar file into Integration Server/lib and this jar u will find into Oracle 10g Folder search *.jar
2. put one or two jars in IS/lib
3. set Classpath for these two jars
4. Restart IS
5. Enable the Oracle Connection U will get…
