  • 1.  Prepare the Server (Failed) - Access is denied

    Attempting to install LMT, but can't get past the first step:

    Prepare the server (failed) - Access denied, Command execution failed with the return code: 1

    We use a remote SQL server, so we choose "other account" using the domain/user log-in credentials. We confirmed we have 'log on as a service' and administrative rights for the user on the box. The DBA added the user to the instance.

    I don't see a place in the forum where I can post screenshots, otherwise, I would.

    The details of the dialogue box is below:

    CODIN0364I Action <Prepare the server> status has changed: old status Ready, new status Running CODIN0327I Executing command [cmd.exe] [/c] [move] [/Y] [E:\Program Files\ibm\LMT\server] [E:\Program Files\ibm\LMT\wlp] CODIN0329I The command completed with the return code 1 Standard output: 0 dir(s) moved. Error output: Access is denied. CODIN0364I Action <Prepare the server> status has changed: old status Running, new status Failed

    Yes, the machine has internet access. I don't believe there is an airgap, but I will take a look at the instructions. Thanks!
