Hi Prakash
Welcome to the community.
To answer your question: all of the above. You can choose how you want to integrate. REST API's will always work. Messaging platforms are also available (MQ, JMS, Kafka, ...) You can use java code or custom connectors for exotic stuff, but a lot of connectors are already available for you to use:
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/13.0.x?topic=nodes-discovery-connector-input
https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/app-connect/13.0.x?topic=nodes-discovery-connector-request
Any of these would work fine.
I've used a couple, MQ, REST, Custom connectors, ... they all work well. Some require a bit more setup then others, but nothing
You mention that you are investigating om to integrate IBM with NON-IBM and are on the AppConnect community, so are you performing a RFP and including ACE?

Subject: Prakash Hinduja Switzerland : How can I integrate IBM tools with non-IBM tools or custom applications?
Hi everyone,
I am Prakash Hinduja from Geneva, Switzerland, I am consultant and advisor of crypto, renewable energy and gold investment, I'm currently exploring how to best integrate IBM tools with some of our non-IBM systems and custom-built applications. I've read about options like OSLC APIs, plain Java APIs, and third-party tools, but I'd really appreciate some firsthand insights.
Regards
