  • 1.  PowerHA Online vNIC Migration

    Hello,

    has anyone successfully migrated a PowerHA Cluster from SEA to vNIC while online? We are currently trying to find a reliable method that leaves the Cluster in a stable state after the migration but we are facing issues. Our attempts resulted in the Cluster being left in a half broken state where PowerHA does not properly determine the correct state of network interfaces (Despite the Fix for APAR IJ51301 installed). This left us wondering whether we are simply encountering bugs or whether an online migration is not possible at all.

    Does anyone have experience with this? What were the steps for the migration?

    Any help or experience is appreciated.

    PowerHA Version: 7.2.8
    AIX Version: 7.3.0.0
