I have a portlet deployed to MWS with an alias configured. The portlet consists of a single button that invokes a service on the IS. When i access the portlet using the alias URL and hit the butting, i get this error on the page:

org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The element type “LINK” must be terminated by the matching end-tag “”.

What does this mean ? This is an existing portlet that is running in production (without issues), but i am getting this error in a different non-prod environment that is identical to prod in terms of version and fixes.

Hi Janardan ,

Please make sure that the ws-client endpoint address is formed correctly.

Go to Folders > Administrative Folders > Administration Dashboard > Configuration > CAF Application Runtime Configuration and search for your application.

Then Go to web application > Environemnt entries > wsclient-endpointAddress make sure it is correct.
