    I'd expect most to be using the command server and launcher.  The launcher is part of what made the tool so attractive in the first place and the command server is what non-webshpere using enterprises would need to run maps, right?

    In the days when IBM acquisitioned Ascential, we've been told, that command server and launcher are inofficially discontinued. They will still be supported as long as customers use them, but development is ceased. IBM's plan is to pick the WTX engine and implement it as a plugin for several other IBM products like WMB.

    Meanwhile WTX is available as a plugin for 7 or even 9 IBM products. And some of the customers in Germany followed IBM's strategy and implemented WMB with WTX as a plugin, thus not using launcher or command server anymore.
