  • 1.  Platform API | Upload Table API known Limitations

    Hello, 

    Can anyone help me if there is any documentation or guide where limitations on the Upload Table Platform API for Apptio is documented?

    The Limitations that I want to know are like - 

    1. What is the maximum file size that is supported by API without failing the request?
    2. What happens if the file contains some non-english characters when uploading to a Table? 
    3. What File Extensions are supported?

    Hello, @Rahul Sar

    I have only used the Frontdoor API, not the plaform one.

    Some stuff I found in Help Center:

    1. Platform API main page (link)
    2. There is a section on supported file formats (link)
    3. ULS -Uploader Service- (link)

    I haven't found a reference to maximum size.

    Thanks for the links, I will see there if I found anything. 

    Regarding the front door API, do you have some links or documentation which says some limitations to the API?

    I have definitely extracted data (we have about 500 users) and updated a field for each of them. 

    I have used Postman (not anymore) and Python scripts. I haven't found any limitations in terms of volume of data uploaded/downloaded.
