    In the "Planning Analytics On Demand and Trial User Guide", Page 93, it refers to the Planning Sample database. Is there a way to access this?
    I'm working on a budget plan and this would be helpful to me.

    Hi

    there is some sample database come with installation of IBM Planning Analytics. One of the sample is planning sample which located in [installation folder]/samples/tm1/plansamp.

    You need to start the service through IBM Config to be able to access it.

    Hi Veronika -

    The Planning Sample that you are referring to only apply to the Planning Analytics On Cloud, Planning Analytics Local, Planning Analytics Express and Planning Analytics Digital pack offerings - so you (excellent) suggestion will not apply to the On Demand/Trial Offering, I'm afraid.

    Hi John, 

    This is a documentation error, that included an example that could be used with the higher editions of Planning Analytics, and we are working to get that resolved.

    IBM Planning Analytics On Demand/Trial do not currently ship with the standard samples - instead, we include a number of tutorials that can easily be deployed, on demand.
    In order to get the experience with Selectors (as per the example in the documentation) I would recommend deploying the first tutorial 1 Analysis and Plan, and work through the Dashboard exercise - task 2 will take you step-by-step through that process.
