    Hi,

    Can anyone give me more clarity on the parameter:
    # The maximum number of seconds the gateway will wait for a backend service response
    $env:ProxyTimeoutSeconds="120"

    We are struggling with our websheets in PAW, after changing books and not using a websheet for several minutes, the websheet becomes unavailable. We cannot input data, change filters or use action buttons on the book with the websheet embedded. The only remaining option we have is to reload the book.

    Does this parameter have impact on this?

    We already changed the TM1Web timeout parameter to 60 minutes and that did not help.

    Hi,

    I suspect the problem still has to do with TM1Web, or a timeout other than ProxyTimeoutSeconds.

    We moved the location of the timeout for TM1Web from the web.xml file to the tm1web_config.xml file in 2.0.6.  Please see: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSD29G_2.0.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.tm1_inst.2.0.0.doc/pa_nf_session_timeout_tm1_web.html.  I mention this just in case you are on 2.0.6 and updated the TM1Web timeout in the wrong place.

    It would be helpful to know if you can reproduce the same timeout on the Websheet in TM1Web directly (not just in a Workspace book).  

    Also, a Fiddler trace or HAR capture from Chrome as you reproduce the problem would probably help us understand where the problem is.  If you open a support ticket with Planning Analytics team at IBM they should ask for the same.

    Hi Stuart,

    I have changed the web parameters on the old location (we are using 2.0.5 as back-end).
    This seems to change nothing. 
    Also the problem does not occur in TM1Web, it really is a PAW only issue we are facing.
    The websheet becomes static after spending a while on another sheet/book. Resulting in a necessary reload of the book where the websheet is placed in.

    Can you please elaborate on the ProxyTimeOutSeconds parameter what it exactly does.

    We have changed the parameter to a higher number, but did not have any effect with the error.
