Planning Analytics Authentication with Ping Federate

    Hello all

Just a question if anyone has done this

We are needing to provide some of our users single sign on access from another domain to the domain where our Planning Analytics is hosted.

Currently, existing users are connecting using native sign on but we need to enable SSO using  CAM authentication for connectivity to Planning Analytics.

For these new users we need to allow SSO but have been told by our IT team that Ping Federate is a possible solution for the new users who are on another domain.

I have found this document which shows configuration of Cognos Analytics to Ping Federate:

    https://community.ibm.com/community/user/businessanalytics/blogs/antonio-marziano/2019/04/18/cognos-analytics-authentication-with-pingfederate

This suggests some set up in Ping Federate and then a specific namespace in Cognos Analytics which seems straightforward. If this was implemented what config parameters in the tm1s.config need to be added/changed ? and would there need to be other changes with respect to PASS, PAW etc ?

Does anyone have  any specific documentation on this ?

    Cheers
    Ajay
