    Hi, 

    I would like to use a picklist on a dark background. Meaning not a selector widget but a cell in a cube view, configured as a picklist with hidden row and column headers. I have set the font color of the data cell to white. When I select the picklist cell, the highlighting feature of the cube viewer (which is generally very useful) makes the white font unreadable. I have had the same issue when formatting row or column headers with a dark background color and white font. 

    Is there a way to inactivate the "highlight selected cell" feature of the cube viewer or make it automatically contrast the text?

    Hi Mario,

    There was a defect introduced in PA 2.0.93:

    PH60020
    Dimension selection list is picking up the color setting from the exploration row header after upgrade to Planning Analytics Workspace 2.0.93

    This is fixed in PAW 2.0.94 if this sounds like your issue

    Thank you for your response. I use version 94 so I am afraid the defect you are referring to was about a different issue.

    Hi Mario and Jill,

    Yes, the functionality of the picklists on the cube viewer and the selectors and lists are the different things.

    With the picklist you can't specify it's color to be contrasted yet. Feel free to log the idea on !AHA

    That may be considered for the future implementation,

    Thanks for your response. I am not sure if I can agree on that. In my opinion this is not an idea or enhancement request but rather an identified deficiency in the product. There is obviously a specific combination of background color and font color that doesn't work with the current highlight cell feature in the new cube viewer. Therefore, I believe this issue should be addressed without requiring the logging of an idea or enhancement request.
