I am Andrew Piasecki, and I am with Good Grief. I was born in 1982, in Naples, Florida (A Bunker Baby). I advanced into the Gifted Program in the third grade. I was student of the month with perfect attendance, and outstanding grades. I went to NASA and Washington, D.C. before I graduated elementary school. I was in CCD after school, learned to play guitar, soccer, baseball, chess, and my mom taught me to read before I was in kindergarten. I finished as a safety patrol student.

Halfway through sixth grade, my dad was offered a position with Pratt & Whitney located in Bangkok, Thailand. I continued my education along with being introduced to a whole new world with brand new people in attendance. We were a large community and learned how to have healthy relationships and communication skills through international curriculum. After three and a half years my family was moving to Italy and my brother returned to the states for university.

While, adjusting to Italian life, European history, and playing soccer, I was given many opportunities to travel the country and visit many of the original works of art and royal estates. I learned the values of the Italian people through food and public transportation. I showed friends, at a very small school, new American music, as well as, Asian mentality.

I returned to the states to attend university in Massachusetts but was completely out of energy. Looking back on it; I should have rested for a year before applying. I received my degree online 12 years later in Florida while working and paying for classes one at a time.

With my education finished and my work experience growing I thought I was rising towards financial freedom. When Covid hit, I got into trouble right away. I was misinformed and misunderstood Florida. The only benefit I can take away is the time to study and read history and look for a time and place similar to 2020. I found John Steinbeck, LinkedIn courses, Google platform, and spiritual freedom.
