    We are getting performance issues once migrated from WAS 6 to 8 , the webpage loading is very slow compare to WAS 6 environment, what are the options to give improve the application performance , please suggest me.

    can't directly say without knowledge of you configurations and application.


    • I sugggest you to make a checklist and compare the configurations/tuning on WAS6 and WAS8.

    • Check if the backend response time are same for both WAS6 and WAS8.

    • Check If you are making use of servlet caching / dynamic caching. IF not try to use them
