Peoplesoft Integration Gateway for outbound messages

    Hi,

    Has anyone configured the Peoplesoft Gateway to connect to the receiveXMLAsNode service within webmethod’s PeoplesoftPIA adapter (2.0)?

    I have some questions:

    • When I ping the webMethods Node from within Peoplesoft I get
      the following error:

    HttpTargetConnector:ExternalApplicationException. (158,10623)

    • One of my suspects is that I encoded the username and password wrong within the node configuration of Peoplesoft. What is the proper procedure to encode the username and password? I know there are some
      instructions in the manual but the stringToByte service doesn’t actually exist so I had to use the stringToBytes which has an extra
      parameter and I am not sure if I set it correctly.

    Any help is much appreciated.
