I'm trying to insert calculated row in exploration view in pax. Unfortunately it only allows you to insert summation or multiplication of selected rows.. Wondering How I can insert a bit complex formula.. Appreciate your Help! thanks

    Aleksandre,

I would suggest simply using an Excel formula which can be preserved and refreshed with the report by performing the following actions.

    1. Using the PAfE context menu, insert a user row on the rows axis.
    2. In the first data cell of the row, enter the desired Excel formula calculation.
    3. Open the PAfE options and enable the 'Preserve user formulas' option

A refresh will now propagate the formula across the entire row and will be preserved across future refreshes.

Arbitrary (server side) calculations can also be defined using the 'mdx' dialog associated with Exploration Reports, as well as some additional options if you compose in the pop up viewer and then convert to an exploration.  Admittedly, it is a bit sophisticated to use; I'd suggest making a 'placeholder' calc, and then modifying it as needed.

This is an area we are looking to improve on in the future.
