Hi,
There isn't a conversion button to go from Custom to Dynamic. As it would probably be too difficult for it to ascertain which custom reports could be converted and it wouldn't know which subsets etc. to pick for the dynamic rows.
However if you have a sheet that already contains additional data that you want to keep and you are just trying to replace a section with a dynamic view, then you can delete the old section that contained your cell references (DBRWs) and then in the Task Pane find the view that you want to add to the report as a Dynamic Report and right-click then select "Dynamic report" > "At Specified Location" this will allow you to select the cell where you want it to be added.
It will insert new rows and keep the surrounding cells, note that the formatting for these new cells will need to be done within the formatting range as per usual dynamic reports. But assuming your task is to just replace a section of a sheet with a dynamic report then this is probably your best way of doing it. It will likely require a degree of formatting and finessing.
