  • 1.  PAW v2059 - Exploration Drill Through Issue

    Hi,

This is a question for the development team at IBM, but I was wondering if you were aware of the following issue when using the Drill Through function on Exploration Views in PAW?

    Business Case
We are attempting to create a multi-layer drill through template, allowing users to drill to the first level of detail and then drill further down if they wish and so on.

    Issue
If you create any "cube view" based drill process in TM1 and then attempt to use the Drill Through function in PAW, any subsequent attempts to drill through further is virtually impossible because the right click menu is docked behind the view that appears on screen. From that initial drill view I was hoping to be able to allow users to further drill down to lower levels of detail, however; when you right click on a cell, the menu is hidden behind the cube drill window, so you are unable to select the next Drill Through option. Hopefully the screen below will make sense of what I am trying to describe :-).

You can just about see the right click menu in the highlighted area above. I'm going to assume this is an issue and not intended behavior, given that it makes further drill through or use of the exploration view completely useless when it appears on screen..

Software - IBM Planning Analytics v2.0.9.4 & PAW build 59

Any ideas if this is a known issue or perhaps something that I am doing wrong please?

    Thanks
    Ian
