Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to use the PAW URL API to open a dimension editor in a new browser window.

I have reviewed the information on this page; IBM Planning Analytics Workspace UI API

I have managed to get a dimension editor to appear using the following URL;

https://xxxx.planning-analytics.cloud.ibm.com/ui?type=dimension-editor&server=yyyyy&dimension=zzzzz

but this only shows the classic (Old) dimension editor, how do I get the new dimension editor to show?

Hi Karl,

This is as is at the moment with the classic Dimension Editor only .

To bring the new dimension editor would required some work on our side.

However, if you'd like to get it from Modeling Workbench, then the expression as below would work for every widget to be opened in the new browser, so the new dimension editor would be there for you.

Example

Http://<your server name>/?perspective=modeling&type=dimension&dimension=plan_business_unit&server=Planning%20Sample
