Using PAW in PA Local setup
- Create an ODBC connection in Windows where you have data tier (TM1 database) installed.
- Log into PAW and create a new process.
- Click on 'DB Connection', then the ODBC connection you created should be available to select.
Now this is tested with PAW version 41 and after, so if this is not available version 30 that you have, then it must have been introduced some version in between. You should upgrade PAW or use Architect to create a new TI process instead.
Regarding 'ODBC menu for cloud version' you mentioned above, I believe you're referring to Secure Gateway. It's only available in cloud because you don't need it in PA Local. Secure Gateway is provided with PA Cloud because customers don't have a direct access to data tier to create ODBC connections.
