Ryan and George, I will also point this out this feedback to our design team.
However, this change is intentional to make sure there is consistency between Cognos Analytics and Planning Analytics Workspace.

Not only are the icons confusing if you have used Perspectives but the order changes when saving books - I still have not learned and keep clicking the wrong one and end up having to move things from time to time.
