I just upgraded to the latest version of PAW, 2.0.90.

When I open a book in some applications, I do not see the edit- or the reset book buttons. 

Those are important for administrators and the reset book is also important for a normal user. 

Hi Asgeir,

You could still edit those books if open separately, not from Apps.

The reset button would make it back soon.

The intent is to prevent the books from being changed.

They should be kept consistent for all users.

Can I somehow revert this setting in our environment?

This should only be locked for people with no rights, not for modelers and admins.

For now it'd be reverting and using the previous version of PAW, then updating PAW later in Q12024.

Going forward, that functionality would be available again for the certain roles.

The intent was based on the client's ask to prevent book editing form the Apps and Plans to assure the book consistency for the planning process.

It'd be safer to wait for the next version.

The clients do downgrade the versions but the complexity/complications would vary from case to case depending on the product they use and the assets.

The Expand feature is also missing when in applications.
