I recently started testing the 64 bits driver and I am having some problems. Tried 4.10.FC14 and 4.50.FC10.

If I run C:\Program Files\IBM Informix Client-SDK\bin\ConnectTest.exe and perform some query it works as expected.

Now If I copy ConnectTest.exe to some folder with a total path length longer than 62 characters it Fails.

If I shorten that path so it is below 62 characters it works.

The problem isn't in ConnectTest.exe, I found the issue in my own applications too but it helps testing the issue.

So it seems at the driver level.

It took a while to find this out because the message I was getting was 

"The connection has been disabled." / "ERROR [08S01] [Informix][Informix ODBC Driver]Communication link failure."

Also the error does not throw when establishing the connection, instead it appears when trying to run a query.

Once I moved to a shorter path the problem went away.

Can anyone reproduce this?

Is there a workaround besides moving to a shorter path?
