Paired samples t test correlation interpretation

  • 1.  Paired samples t test correlation interpretation

    Posted Tue July 20, 2021 06:59 AM

    Dear Mr/Ms,

is it incorrect to interpret paired-samples t-test correlation as classical correlation coefficients and what is the purpose of the data of that type of correlation if only statistically significant differences are interpreted in this test?

    Thanks for your reply

The correlation calculations are the same for the two procedures, but the paired option provides some additional statistics and displays the output in a different arrangement that may sometimes be more convenient.
