  • 1.  PAFE not totally fine

    Posted yesterday
    Hello every body !
Under PAFE version 2.1.14.2, I am experiencing issues, only with dynamic reports.
1- Double-clicking on a subnm cell does not display the subset editor but moves to the next cell.
2 - Double-clicking to expand a row deletes all rows except the first one containing tm1rptrow.

The same double-click to expand row works fine in a universal report.

Other workstations with the same version of Excel 365 work fine, and I have met all the prerequisites (.netframework 4.8).

I try with an old PAFE (2.0.99) same things !
    Any ideas?

    Kind Regards,
    Philippe

    Hi Philippe,

We have had various issues where events and screenupdating seemed to be in the incorrect state when the addin was loaded as an Excel addin automatically.

Is the addin loaded as part of the Excel addins or opened by the user after starting Excel? If so, try remove, restart and open the XLL via File, Open.

2.1.15 seems to have resolved my issues...

    Hi Philippe,

You normally get that when the PAfE and Excel "bitness" differ.
Ask them to open the other XLL

    Philippe

Please get them to show you the "bitness" of Excel in About Excel in File>Account.

    Kind regards

    Phil

Yes George, I agree with you about bitness

    but :

    I verify

    and

When he open Pafe with doucle-qlick, excel and Pafe are correctly. loaded

    Strange and mysterious

    Will try with "86" xll

    Kind regards,

    Philippe

    Hi

I am confused and sorry !

There were traces of "Perspective" left.....   I disabled the Excel add-ins and now .....

      everything is working fine. !

    (I also use 2.1.15 PAFE)

A big thank for all you !

Perhaps PAFE's instability led me to believe that I was innocent (smiles).

    Kind regards,

    Philippe
