we are using PAfE 11.0.63.17 32bit
Recently we have run into the following bug, which makes our customers quite unhappy with their decision to switch to PAfE:

Whenever we create a new exploration we get something that looks like this (incompletely rendered Selection boxes)

To make the selection boxes visible, we have to enable and disable the designmode at least once. After which the boxes become visible.

It would be great if IBM could engineer a bugfix for this. It should not be the case, that normal users first have to enable and disable the designmode to have an exploration render correctly.

I am looking forward to your suggestions and responses.

We've seen this one quite often with clients and found that turning the "optimize for compatibility" option in the Excel Options > General screen resolves the issue.

The excel setting suggests its for people using multiple displays but we have seen the issue on people using a single laptop screen as well.
I think there is a technote somewhere suggesting its prevalent on high resolution screens.

I don't know if its the same issue you are facing though as I can't remember design mode being turned on and off fixing the issue, but once you find a fix I tend to forget everything else about it.
