Hello,
Is there a relation between the package name and the first folder with in the package within which the adapters, docs, maps etc are created?

In the documentation I am seeing that the package name and the folder name are same. Is it because it is a good practice or is it because of some conventional reasons for the product?

Please advise.

Hello ,

Remember, the webMethods namespace does not consider package name. Hence, if the package name and top level folder names are not same then you might trouble yourself with namespace collision issue.

Its a best practice to have the package name and top level folder the same name.
