Hello

When I drill-through a cell, viewer opens-up showing row of data with columns heading. The data is seen in right format for ex: a column have data with Text and Number, is seen formatted as Text.  I only have option to Download to CSV file and when I do that, opening in excel the csv file, the same column is showing text but treating number as Number. Due to this our users have to take an extra step of Data-Transformation everytime and this is annoying to them.

The same was working in Perspective prior going to PA Cloud.  

Is there a solution to this behavior ?

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Svetlana,

Please find the attached screenshots. The issue is seen when downloading Drill-through cell into a CSV file. Columns in CSV file are not formatting properly, for ex: ACCT (col B), SSCDE (col P), BU (cols S)

Hi Manish,

After the investigation we concluded that .csv is carrying any formatting, then the Excel would take over in formatting the values.

That could be a new idea to support Excel download for drill-trough.
