We have a customer moving to PA Cloud and we want to import data from their General Ledger, which runs on an local Oracle database.

This works with PA Local but not PA Cloud. The Satellite Connector documentation states "The Oracle RAC driver uses a dynamic port range, which is not supported by Satellite Connector. Satellite Connector supports only a single port." 

So we are looking for the best way to overcome this problem.

We would like to avoid files and (lots of) custom coding so we are looking into having a local sql db souring the data from Oracle and then using the sql db as source for PA Cloud.

But we would of course prefer to use a standard connection with Satellite Connector if possible.

Any good ideas or advice is much appreciated.
