  • 1.  Output doesn't open in Version 30

    Posted Fri January 10, 2025 02:42 PM

The IT technician recently downloaded the new version and a new license. However, the Output file does not open automatically, and when I open it from>new>output, it doesn't show the syntax/log. How can I fix this? Thanks.

    Hi @Funda Erel
Are you saying the log object does not exist in your output?  Or are you saying the object exists, but it is not visible?  Both of these are user preferences available un the "Edit->Options" menu.

To make sure the Log object exists in the Output Viewer:

    1. Open the "Edit -> Options" menu and "Viewer" tab.
    2. Check the box next to "display commands in the log"

To make sure the Log object is visible in the Output Viewer:

           3. Fill the "Shown" radio button under "Contents are initially:"

I appreciate your comment, David. I found it after posting my question. The output file also did not open at startup. I located the fix under the 'General' tab.
