If i display Out2 data as package it will display but when i map any filed from this set, it is not displays. output is created is empty

In1: student data set                    out1: mapped In1

                                                         out2:  F_map1( in1)

Map generates output correctly. both In1 and out1 uses same typetree. Any Clues

did you try activating data audit on Out1 ? I had this issue in the past and it was linked to generating invalid output data.

Hi Laurent, I activated data audit and able to see the Valid data. I believe 1-1 mapping will solve the issue.

Not sure how functional map behaves deferently when we pass group from input card and group from output card.

....because this is how it was designed to work.  Perhaps you could review the REFORMAT() function and see if this helps you.
