Hi friends,

I am am trying to selecting around 100 thousand records at a time and i am getting out of memory while running select adapter service. we need to transfer 3 million records at a time from DB to DB. i am worried about webMethods is not handling 100 thousands records, then how come for 3 million records.

I increased heap size
JAVA_MIN_MEM=4096M
JAVA_MAX_MEM=6144M

no use.

Any comments on this.

Hi Sha,

The memory size is more than sufficient, the problem is how you are handling the transfer. Please use the batch sql’s to handle this kind of scenario for best results along with the adapter setting of NO TRANSACTION. This should help.
